DIGIS3 participates in the DIHNamic project
The DIGIS3 project, Intelligent, Sustainable and Cohesive Digitalisation, is an initiative for the creation of a Digital Innovation Hub (DIH) in the region of Castilla y León. The main aim of DIGIS3 is to help companies, especially SMEs, and public administration, to undergo a digital transformation. Thus, the services offered by DIGIS3 are oriented towards digitization; training in this area, testing and experimentation, support in the search for sources of funding and an innovation and networking ecosystem.

Innovative technologies and the rural exodus
Since the ominous arrival of the pandemic caused by COVID 19, the world is making a 360-degree shift towards digital transformation. The region of Castilla y León is the province with the oldest population and the most depopulated rural territory.
It is already a reality that digital connectivity in rural areas is being considered in order to attract young people or to prevent them from migrating to the cities. The European Commission is working to prevent the rural exodus, especially of young people with innovative solutions.

Burgos Industry 4.0 Technology Meeting
On 16 November, the Burgos Industry 4.0 Technology Meeting took place, where DIGIS3 took part by presenting its initiative for intelligent, sustainable and cohesive digitalisation. This event, which was held in a hybrid format of exhibition and technical conferences, has evidenced the Spanish industrial potential.
DIGIS3 had an information point which provided information on the project and its goal of supporting the region of Castilla y León.

We are pleased to invite you to the Industry 4.0 Burgos Technology Meeting.
The Industry 4.0 Burgos Technology Meeting will take place on 16 November 2021. The event will be held on the 3rd floor of the Forum Evolución Burgos and will be completely free of charge. It will start at 9:15 am, will remain open until 2:00 pm and will continue in the afternoon from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm.

Exhibition of technological solutions for Industry 4.0
Within DIGIS3, our partner DIHBU4.0 is organising the exhibition of a total of 39 technology demonstrators from the 47 applications that were submitted. The event will take place on 16 November 2021 in Burgos, on the third floor of the Fórum Evolución.

DIGIS3 has participated in Startup Olé
DIGIS3 participated in a round table at the seventh edition of Startup Olé, a major technology event that brings together the European and international ecosystem. This year, in a combined format, online and in person, it was held from 6 to 10 September in Salamanca.

Official launch of the DIGIS3 initiative
The event will take place on 17 September in the Nexo building of the Caja Burgos Foundation from 12:00 to 13:00 noon, open to all companies and interested parties, with limited seating.
