DIGIS3 news: updates, initiatives, and technology opportunities

The workshop will take place next Wednesday, 27th November, from 09:00 to 18:00, in the SCAYLE Training Room (CRAI-TIC Building, Campus de Vegazana s/n, León).

DIGIS3, in collaboration with AIR Institute, is organising a free workshop aimed at SMEs and freelancers, where they will learn how to implement solutions based on explainable AI, designed to bring transparency and trust to their companies.

TALOS and COROB are the two initiatives co-financed by the European Union, to which DIHBU will contribute its dissemination efforts. This is an opportunity for DIHBU to promote its services, as well as those of DIGIS3, on an international scale.

This initiative, funded by the European Union and the University of León (ULE), aims to enhance the municipality's digital capabilities in areas of management and planning, through the digitalisation of different types of information, including its cartography data.

The training has brought together a diverse group of students, researchers, and professionals aiming to gain expertise in bioinformatics tools and supercomputing applications for metagenomic analysis.

From 28 to 30 October, the University of León will offer a practical course aimed at researchers and professionals in computer science, biology and biotechnology, focused on the sequencing and analysis of genomic data using Oxford Nanopore technology.

This week, we participated in the Third National Meeting of European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH) in Spain, held on October 15 and 16 at the AS5-HUB Building in Gijón.

This past Tuesday, October 8th, the Salamanca Conference Center became a key meeting point for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) aiming to adapt and thrive in the digital age.
