Successful AI Application Workshop for SMEs Organised by DIGIS3 and AJE Salamanca

Last week, DIGIS3, in collaboration with the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Salamanca (AJE), hosted the workshop "Accessible Technological Revolution: How AI Can Boost Your Business." The event, held at the Salamanca Chamber of Commerce, brought together 23 SMEs, including self-employed professionals and company representatives from a diverse range of industries, such as metal carpentry, real estate, web design and development, and healthcare.

The workshop aimed to demonstrate how AI-powered tools can enhance productivity and competitiveness by streamlining daily business operations, improving customer service and retention, facilitating financial management and data-driven decision-making, and developing personalised marketing strategies tailored to individual clients' needs.

Through practical examples, attendees explored ways to integrate AI into different areas of their businesses, automate tasks using various tools, and unlock a wealth of possibilities—all while gaining hands-on experience in configuring these solutions. The session was highly interactive, with participants engaging in discussions and asking questions, eager to understand how to implement AI tools effectively in their specific business contexts.

The event was a resounding success, not only due to the participants' enthusiasm for learning and applying these technologies but also because of the strong demand for further training sessions, including practical guidance on using ChatGPT and refining prompt writing. Additionally, the workshop marked a significant milestone for the organisers, who will continue working closely with AJE Salamanca to design tailored future sessions, reinforcing their newly established collaboration and responding to the evolving needs of their members.

The workshop concluded with a networking breakfast, offering a relaxed setting for speakers and business owners to connect and discuss the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence in their industries.
