DIGIS3 news: updates, initiatives, and technology opportunities

On 7 May in Burgos, DIHBU and DIGIS3 organised a workshop on innovations in IT Infrastructure and OT Cybersecurity, with practical demonstrations, case studies and networking among professionals in the sector.

Members of the SUPPRESS Research Group met with S21Sec staff in the framework of DIGIS3 to discuss the development of technological activities and other digitisation initiatives.

The DIH-LEAF team participated in the 62nd National Agricultural Machinery Fair in Lerma (Burgos) on 1 and 2 May. The event was a great opportunity to showcase and promote the innovative capabilities and services offered by DIGIS3 to the agricultural and technology industry.

The development of this proof of concept (PoC) has been promoted with the Garnica Samazan company, the largest manufacturer of poplar plywood in Europe.

The two European Digital Innovation Hubs have formalised an agreement to develop advanced solutions that boost economic growth and business competitiveness.

The 20-hour course will be delivered either on-site or online from 28 to 30 May and on 4, 5 and 6 June.

The Digital Innovation Hub of Burgos, a member of DIGIS3, will be present at the fair on 1 and 2 May offering a range of services in the form of a deal desk.

The Castilla y León Supercomputing Centre Foundation has a new Director General, Hilde Pérez, and over the next few months she will be working at the new facilities on the site of the Integrated Centre for Industrial Technological Vocational Training in León.

The event will take place on 7 May from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at La Estación de la Ciencia y la Tecnología in Burgos and registration is free of charge until all seats are taken.
