DIGIS3 and ADRISS organise a free conference on the application of drones to the primary sector

The DIGIS3 consortium, through its affiliated entity ADRISS, the Association for the Integral Rural Development of the Salamanca Mountain Regions, is organising a free of charge conference on the application of drones in the primary sector on 27 June in Villanueva del Conde (Salamanca).

This conference will cover a range of interesting topics such as the possible uses of drones in the rural environment, with applications such as technical inspections, determining the state of crops (olive groves, vineyards, fruit trees) or taking data in forest environments for inventory or detection of hot spots in fires.

In addition, flight demonstrations will be carried out over crop plots using multispectral mapping, with applications such as knowledge of the phenological state of the crop, plant water stress, monitoring of production or detection of pests and diseases and the application of phytosanitary treatments.
