The European Commission's European Digital Innovation Hubs Network (EDIH Network) announced this week the launch of its free Digital Maturity Assessment Tool (DMAT). It is a valuable resource for companies and SMEs that is available in 32 different languages and enables them to conduct a self-assessment of their digital maturity and obtain results that help define the next steps in the digitisation process.
The DMAT is a great resource, making it easier for companies to assess their digital maturity status and contact their closest EDIHs with a view to enhancing their performance with additional information and services, thereby starting or continuing their digital transformation process as smoothly as possible.
The tool is designed to indicate areas of digitalisation where improvements can be made, based on a questionnaire with different criteria and six dimensions to be examined:
- Digital business strategy
- Digital readiness
- Digital skills and capabilities
- Data management
- Automation and intelligence
- Green digitisation
The results allow companies and SMEs to identify strengths and weaknesses, plan improvements and set priorities with the advice of a European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) such as DIGIS3 in Castilla y León, as well as 11 others in Spain.
The tool is available for free at this link and the language can be changed at the top of the website. In addition, there is a section of information for companies that can be very useful. Take advantage of it to unleash the digital potential of your company and start the digital transformation!
