DIGIS3 news: updates, initiatives, and technology opportunities

The European Digital Innovation Hub DIGIS3 participated in the PAAMS congresses, specifically in the DCAI conference, with Javier Parra from the IoT Digital Innovation HuB (IoT DIH).

Salamanca Tech will bring together specialists from the primary, hospitality and wine industries. The meeting is being organised by AIR Institute, a member of DIGIS3, in collaboration with the Ayuntamiento de Salamanca. 

At the Ponferrada Campus, scientists from the GEOINCA Research Group, are providing training in mapping and remote sensing tools to Descendientes de J. Palacios, one of the most emblematic wineries at national level with its headquarters located in the town of Corullón, in the province of Bierzo since 1999

The DIGIS3 consortium includes the Q GEO Research Group to promote Sustainable Digital Transformation in companies and administrations of Castilla y León.

The third Burgos Industry 4.0 2023 Technology Meeting, co-organised by the Digital Innovation Hub Industry 4.0 (DIHBU), a member of DIGIS3, and the municipal company Promueve Burgos, will take place on 24 and 25 October 2023 at the Palacio de Congresos Fórum Evolución.

This week the “EDIH Network Annual Summit” was held in Brussels. An annual event that brings together representatives of all European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH), policy makers and public administrators to discuss innovation, technology and digitisation opportunities in Europe.

The GEOINCA Research Group participates in the DIGIS3 consortium to promote the Sustainable Digital Transformation of companies and administrative bodies in Castile y León.

On 16 May, representatives of the AIR Institute (DIGIS3 coordinating entity)and the Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castilla y León -ICE- (partner DIGIS3), representing the entire consortium of DIGIS3entities, took part in the first meeting of national EDIHs.

On 10 May, DIHBU, a member of DIGIS3, attended the annual convention of the European DIH² network in Brussels, as a centre specialising in the application of industrial robotics solutions.

On 12 April, AIR Institute staff, as a member of DIGIS3, participated in the second part of the training session on "Managing Digital Innovation".
