The Castilla y León Supercomputing Centre Foundation (SCAYLE), member of DIGIS3, attended the ASTICNET24 conference in Segovia last week. This is an outstanding technological event featuring diverse conferences, roundtables and presentations of success stories given by experts in the sector.
Ruth Alonso Martínez, administrative and training manager of SCAYLE, presented the novelties and services offered by DIGIS3 to the SMEs and public entities of Castilla y León, facilitating an intelligent, sustainable and cohesive digital transformation. The attendees were provided with detailed information on the activity of the only European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) in the region and one of the 12 at national level. In addition, SCAYLE presented the EuroCC European project of which it is part and whose main objective is the provision of supercomputing, big data and artificial intelligence services adapted to the needs of industry (especially SMEs), academia and public administration.
The event was also attended by José Luis Escrivá, Minister for Digital Transformation and Public Administration of the Spanish Government. ASTICNET has been a great opportunity to present DIGIS3 services and to create the opportunity for different entities to benefit and find advantages in their digitalisation process.
