The DIH-World project aims to accelerate the adoption of advanced digital technologies by European manufacturing SMEs in all sectors, supporting them in building sustainable competitive advantages and reaching global markets.
To this end, as an intermediary for a successful digital transformation of local SMEs, DIH-World aims to provide DIHs with access to harmonised tools, well-tested technologies, effective methodologies, solid knowledge, smart investment sources, enriching enabling assets and, in general, a vibrant innovation environment.
AIR Institute, a member of the DIGIS3, consortium, will participate in the second DIH-World event. Our consortium member has participated on numerous occasions in the past, including the Community Days event that took place on the 6 May where the importance of cybersecurity in the Industry 5.0 was discussed.
This DIH-World open call will start on 25 May with an information session. It is designed to support digitalisation experiments involving DIHs and SMEs in the manufacturing sector.
This event is aimed at SMEs willing to integrate digital technologies into their products, services or processes by collaborating with a Digital Innovation Hub, and at Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs) willing to carry out an innovative experiment with an SME.
