The proposed project also involves its stakeholder MIND MEXICO, with whom it will collaborate closely in its implementation, if approved.

The role of DIHBU will be the contribution of good practices from the Spanish industry, and specifically from the manufacturing industry of Castilla y León, highly committed to the objectives of sustainability and reduction of environmental impact.

The DIHBU will also contribute to the project the experiences carried out specifically with the industrial cluster of Burgos in this area, and will contribute its capabilities to solve challenges related to sustainable industrial digitisation from the state of Jalisco.

If the project is approved, it will be implemented with European funding over a period of two years, and its activities include collaboration between DIHBU and CCIJ to showcase the progress achieved through various industrial conferences, both in Mexico and Spain.

The project has been submitted to the 1st Call for proposals for innovative partnership projects. Lot 2: Transition towards low-carbon, resource-efficient and circular business models.

The collaboration between DIHBU and Mexican entities, such as MIND MEXICO began in 2019, through the signing of a collaboration agreement that aims to promote Industry 4.0 jointly in the state of Jalisco and the region of Castilla y León.
