Step by step: how to apply for aid for digitisation in Castilla y León

Tue, 27 May 2025

Digitalisation is a strategic necessity for companies to remain competitive, innovative and sustainable. In Castilla y León, there are different aid and public funding programmes that support this process. However, many SMEs, midcaps, self-employed and rural entities are still unaware of how to access these calls for proposals.

At DIGIS3 we have designed this step-by-step guide to guide organisations through the process of applying for aid for digitisation. Below, we explain how to do it:

Steps to apply for digitisation grants:

  1. Identify your digital needs: assess where your company is and which areas could benefit from a digital transformation (production, logistics, customer service, cybersecurity, automation, etc.). To do this, we can carry out the Digitalisation Diagnosis for SMEs.
  2. Consult the active calls for proposals: find out about the available programmes (European and national funds and regional calls for proposals). At DIGIS3 we help you to identify the ones that best fit your profile.
  3. Define your project: prepare a clear proposal with objectives, technologies to be implemented, schedule and budget. The more appropriate the project is to the call for proposals, the more likely you are to succeed. DIGIS3 works with you in the drafting of funding proposals for innovation projects.
  4. Seek specialised support: you can count on all the partners and associates (19 entities) that form part of DIGIS3 to advise you technically, validate the viability of the project and improve your proposal.
  5. Process the application: access the corresponding electronic site and submit your application within the deadline.
  6. Follow up and justify the project: if you get the grant, remember that you will have to justify the execution of the project as approved.
