Consulting and Prototyping

What does this service involve?

DIGIS3 offers various advisory and experimentation services to help organisations analyse a technology need, assess possible solutions and test their feasibility before making a final investment or deployment. The type of support is adapted to each organisation's starting point and needs.

What kind of support can I receive?

Depending on your needs and the maturity of your project, DIGIS3 can offer you initial guidance, a technology diagnosis, specialised advice or proof-of-concept services.

When you need to experiment with a technology solution, there are three distinct services:

  • PoC Design: conceptually defines what the solution could look like before it is developed.
  • PoC Development: develops, integrates and validates a functional prototype or proof of concept.
  • PoC Testing: tests and evaluates a PoC or prototype that has already been developed.
Why test a technology before investing?

It reduces uncertainty and allows you to make better-informed decisions before a larger investment. Depending on the service, it is possible to analyse the feasibility of a solution, develop a prototype or check aspects such as its performance, stability, usability, integration, security or suitability for the organisation's needs.

Funding Search

Can DIGIS3 help me find funding for my digitalisation project?

Yes. The DIGIS3 team can guide you in identifying aid, grants and funding programmes that may fit your company's digitalisation or digital transformation needs. To do so, we will review your situation and the available opportunities and tell you the next steps.

Do I need to have a defined project already?

You don't need to have it fully developed. You can come to DIGIS3 with a digitalisation need, a project idea or an initiative you want to launch. The more information you can provide about your company and what you want to do, the better we can assess which opportunities may fit.

Can you tell me whether my company is eligible for a specific grant?

DIGIS3 can carry out an initial review of the fit and general requirements of a call for proposals, taking into account aspects such as the type and size of the company, location, activity, planned project, eligible expenses, deadlines or required documentation. The assessment is indicative and must subsequently be confirmed against the final conditions of each call.

Does DIGIS3 prepare and submit the grant application?

The service is designed to identify opportunities and guide you on how to move forward, but it does not include preparing the full application, writing project reports, online submission or the administrative follow-up of the file. When necessary, the team can tell you what the next steps are.

Connecting with the Innovation Ecosystem

Can DIGIS3 help me find partners, suppliers or companies to collaborate with?

Yes, DIGIS3 can facilitate connections with companies, technology providers, potential customers, startups, investors, public bodies and other players in the innovation ecosystem, depending on what you need and the opportunities available. The aim is to generate useful contacts that can lead to collaborations, projects, pilots or new business opportunities.

Do I need to know exactly who I want to contact?

Not necessarily. The team can help you define what you need, what you can offer and what kind of collaboration you are looking for. Based on that information, profiles with complementary interests or capabilities can be identified. The more clearly defined your challenge or objective, the easier it will be to generate relevant connections.

How are the connections made?

Depending on the activity, DIGIS3 can organise business meetings, bilateral meetings, guided networking, sector events or collaboration spaces with other players and EDIHs. Before these meetings, information is gathered about the participants' profiles, needs and interests to better prepare the connections.

Does DIGIS3 guarantee that I will get a deal, a customer or an investment?

No. The aim is to facilitate qualified contacts and create collaboration opportunities, but taking part does not guarantee commercial agreements, investment, hiring or the subsequent development of a project.
