The Digital Innovation Hub on Livestock, Environment, Agriculture & Forest (DIH-LEAF), a member of DIGIS3, has officially launched the DIGIVIT'25 initiative, an international strategic meeting focused on digitalisation in viticulture. Thanks to collaboration between DIH-LEAF, DIGIS3, the Provincial Council of Burgos, the Lerma Town Council, the University of Burgos, and the Society for the Development of the Province of Burgos (SODEBUR), the forum will become a reality at the Lerma Fair from 1st to 3rd May 2025.
DIGIVIT’25, presented on 20th March at the Provincial Council of Burgos, will serve as a key meeting point for sharing knowledge and discovering the latest technological innovations in the sector. The forum will facilitate the digitalisation of wineries and producers through the adoption of advanced digital technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, IoT sensorisation, robotics, and blockchain, applied from the vineyard to the commercialisation of wine. DIGIVIT represents a strategic commitment to fostering competitiveness, local economic development, and the real-world application of cutting-edge technology.
The event will feature round tables bringing together leaders from universities, technology centres, and the country’s most renowned designations of origin. Additionally, there will be an international presence, with organisations participating from countries such as Chile, France, and Portugal.
All information, the full programme, and registration details—whether as a visitor or exhibitor—are available on the Lerma Fair and DIGIVIT website.
