Our member SCAYLE announces upcoming supercomputing courses for September-November

Tue, 13 Aug 2024

After finishing the seventh "Practical course on supercomputing applied to RNAseq data analysis", our partner SCAYLE announces the dates for the upcoming training courses focused on the area of science and biology.

The first proposal is the sixth "Practical course on metagenomics and microbial diversity using supercomputing", which arrives at the end of September, specifically on 30 September, and will run until 4 October. Through this training, the aim is to provide researchers, students and science specialists with skills for the collection, annotation and analysis of sequenced DNA fragments.

In November, from 4 to 8 November, SCAYLE proposes the fourth "Course on Experimental Design and Metagenomic Analysis using Supercomputing". This training, aimed primarily at professionals in science, biology and biotechnology, offers tools for statistical analysis using R in search for associations between genes and types of samples, for example.

Although the enrolment period for these courses is not yet open, please stay on the look-out as places are limited and there is an ever growing number of people who are interested in learning about the use of supercomputing in areas such as data analysis and biology.
