The Digital Innovation Hub Industry 4.0 (DIHBU), a member of DIGIS3, is organising the “IT Infrastructure and OT Cybersecurity - Two aspects to take into account in the process of industrial digitization” on 7 May at 6:00 p.m., free of charge. The event will present use cases involving the incorporation of Edge Data Center solutions based on climate-controlled racks in Industry 4.0 environments and examples will be provided illustrating how OT cybersecurity can be addressed in these scenarios.
Attendees will have access to a practical demonstration of the CIBERSEC cybersecurity technology of the startup METRIX and will be able to see a live demonstration of an Edge Data Center equipped with climate control, power distribution, monitoring and access control from the manufacturer RITTAL. Luis Aguilar, CEO of METRIX, and Xabier Cabia, Data Center & IT Sales Specialist at RITTAL, will give presentations. In addition, the Kronospan Systems department will speak about the importance of energy efficiency and protection in data centres, presenting the case of their own centre together with Adetel Comunicaciones, the integrator that carried out the installation using RITTAL solutions.
The conference will last one hour and will be held in the Clock Room of the Science and Technology Station of Burgos (C/ Dr. José Luis Santamaría s/n).
