The third Burgos Industry 4.0 2023 Technology Meeting, co-organised by the Digital Innovation Hub Industry 4.0 (DIHBU), a member of DIGIS3, and the municipal company Promueve Burgos, will take place on 24 and 25 October 2023 at the Palacio de Congresos Fórum Evolución.
The meeting will consist of three different events that will be held simultaneously: the ExpoIndustria 4.0 2023, the Industry 4.0 Technology Demonstrators Expo, the Industrial Track 4.0 2023. 4th edition, and the newest activity, Matchmaking B2B Industry 4.0 2023 with topics related to trends and best practices in industrial digitisation and explanation of real use cases.
This is a national event where the best innovative solutions for industries applied to the manufacturing sector will be presented, especially in the fields of automotive, agri-food, chemical, transport and logistics.
The "Industry 4.0 Technology Demonstrators Exhibition" will feature a total of 42 technology demonstrators. These will be awarded free of charge at the Industry 4.0 Expo to the selected candidates, so that they can showcase their technological solutions through demonstrators working in real time.
In the selection process, the quality of the solutions, their degree of innovation and their adaptation to sustainability requirements will be assessed, in a process that will be transparent and open, as in each of the previous editions. Priority will be given to linking the solutions to high-impact technologies in industry, such as industrial 5G, intelligent robotics or advanced cyber-physical systems. SMEs and local knowledge centres will be especially valued in the selection process.
It is an excellent opportunity to give visibility to developed and already tested innovative solutions for Industry 4.0, and thus provide added value to the participating entities with a view to their exploitation, also offering them networking opportunities, the option of public presentations and media interviews.
As in previous editions, a public catalogue of technological demonstrators will be generated, which will be the object of prior and subsequent promotion and dissemination, through audiovisual media and network activity.
