On 18th June, a workshop was held at the “Oropéndola” Residence for SMEs collaborating with ASPACE Salamanca, focused on the practical application of Artificial Intelligence in workplace environments. Delivered by professionals from the AIR Institute, the session generated significant interest among attendees and became a dynamic, hands-on learning experience.
The event brought together professionals from the social sector, staff from third-sector organisations, and regular ASPACE collaborators — all with a shared goal: to understand how technology can serve as a genuine asset in their professional settings. During the day, digital tools such as ChatGPT, Trello, and Make were introduced, with an emphasis on their practical use to streamline tasks, improve work organisation, and encourage team collaboration.
This workshop is part of ASPACE Salamanca’s strategic commitment to technological innovation, ongoing training, and improving internal processes, with the aim of consistently offering the best possible support to people with cerebral palsy and their families. The activity was made possible thanks to the DIGIS3 initiative, led by the AIR Institute and supported by other institutions across Castilla y León that are dedicated to digital transformation and technological training across various sectors — including the social field.
In addition to gaining technical knowledge, the workshop also encouraged collective reflection on the ethical, socially aware, and creative use of these tools, helping participants adapt technological solutions to the specific needs of the third sector.
