New Centr@tec conference on the Digital Kit’s solutions for the digital transformation of self-employed and SMEs

On 26th January, the AIR Institute is hosting a new conference of the Centr@tec Programme organised by the Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castilla y León (ICE) in collaboration with the AIR Institute. This time, the Digital Kit will be the focus of the event, specifically, the Kit’s solutions for the digital transformation of the self-employed and SMEs.

The event is free of charge and all those interested in participating only need to register. The event will take place at the AIR Institute's headquarters, at Avenida Santiago Madrigal, 39.

The Digital Kit is a public financial aid programme funded by the Next Generation EU funds intended for the self-employed and SMEs to help them adopt technological solutions in their digitalisation.

The conference starts at 10:00 a.m. and ends at around 1:00 p.m. on 26 January. Anyone interested in the initiative will be able to learn about it in detail through Cristina Timón Gil, from the Chamber of Commerce of Salamanca, where there is an Acelera Pyme Office, which aims to promote digital transformation through the adoption of a culture, use and permanent exploitation of ICT in business strategies, through a process of accompaniment and the offer of key tools that maximise productivity and competitiveness, both at national and international levels.

Beforehand, Juan Manuel Corchado, Professor at the University of Salamanca, will present the Centr@tec Programme; and José Francisco Diego Calvo, territorial delegate of the ICE in Salamanca, will describe the financial support provided by the Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castilla y León (ICE).

In addition, one of AIR Institute's experts will give a lecture on Generative AI from a business perspective, providing the initial theoretical basis for implementing these technologies in companies, favouring and aiding their digitisation. On this occasion it will be Raúl García Serrada and the title of his conference will be "Generative AI (ChatGPT) and its potential for the company".

The conference will end with a networking session where attendees will be able to talk to the invited experts.
