The University of León (ULE), a DIGIS3 member and expert partner in advanced digital skills, has provided a training programme on data analysis, AI and cybersecurity. The programme was structured into five sessions with a practical approach and, in this case, targeted at staff from the engineering and construction firm HEDISA. Each session combined short lectures with guided exercises and the analysis of real cases, with the aim of immediately transferring data-analysis, cybersecurity and artificial-intelligence methodologies to day-to-day operations.
The programme was delivered at the School of Industrial, Computer and Aerospace Engineering, with the participation of the SECOMUCI Research Group. The teaching team consisted of José Aveleira Mata, José Alberto Benítez Andrades, Natalia Prieto Fernández, Martín Bayón Gutiérrez and Sergio Rubio Martín.
In doing so, the University of León continues to consolidate its role as a strategic actor in digital transformation, promoting applied training that delivers measurable results and strengthens business competitiveness at local, national and international level.
The DIGIS3 European Digital Innovation Hub, based in Castilla y León, is a consortium made up of six partners: AIR Institute, the University of León, SCAYLE, ICECYL, DIHBU and DIH-LEAF. The ULE contributes its expertise in the supervision, control and automation of industrial processes and critical infrastructures, as well as in Industry 4.0, IoT, data science, AI, additive manufacturing and aerospace technology.
