The University of León (ULE) and the Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castilla y León (ICECYL) are inviting companies, wineries, and professionals from the agri-food sector — both from the province of León and across the region — to take part in the DIGIS3 Supply and Demand Meeting, which will be held on 28 October, from 10:30 to 13:30, in the Assembly Hall of the Services Building at the Ponferrada Campus of ULE.

The event aims to be a space for innovation, sustainability, and collaboration, showcasing how digitalisation is helping to optimise crops, reduce carbon footprints, and improve vineyard and fruit management through real case studies and technological solutions.

Throughout the day, participants will have the opportunity to discover digital tools that enable the digitalisation of production processes, improve energy efficiency, and enhance environmental sustainability, while also networking with technology providers and other stakeholders from the agri-food ecosystem.

The event will also feature presentations of technological solutions by companies and organisations already applying innovation in the field. Participants include:

  • GEOINCA, a ULE research group specialising in geomatics applied to natural resource management, presenting a success story with Bodega Descendientes de J. Palacios;

  • Invicsa Airtech, specialising in drone-based aerial monitoring for precision agriculture;

  • Servima, focused on energy efficiency and sustainability;

  • VITICAMPO, dedicated to automation in wine and horticultural services; and

The session will conclude with a networking and B2B meeting space, allowing companies to establish direct contact with technology providers and innovation centres to explore collaboration opportunities.
