Supply and Demand Meeting León
Supply and Demand Meeting León
DIGIS3 (European Digital Innovation Hub of Castile and León) is organising the meeting, with the University of León as the host institution and key node of the ecosystem. DIGIS3 partners are participating as allies, as well as technology centres and universities, with the support of Local Action Groups and chambers of commerce for regional dissemination.
1. Objectives of the meeting:
To connect technological supply and demand, linking the needs of the wine and fruit sector with digital solutions that provide added value and sustainability.
To promote the reduction of the carbon footprint on farms through the digitisation of processes.
Disseminate local success stories in wine and fruit growing that demonstrate the positive impact of digital transformation.
Encourage networking and agreements, facilitating bilateral meetings that generate collaborations, pilot projects and new projects.
2. Project framework (DIGIS3):
The meeting is part of DIGIS3 (Castile and León Digital Innovation Hub), a European project recognised as a European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) under the European Commission's Digital Europe Programme.
DIGIS3's mission is to accelerate the digital transformation of SMEs, mid-caps and public entities in Castilla y León, promoting technological innovation, sustainability, territorial cooperation and the transfer of knowledge and data.
In this context, the meeting in León brings direct value to local and regional businesses by:
Raise awareness of the technological capabilities of the DIGIS3 ecosystem.
Identify real digitisation needs in companies.
Facilitate exploratory agreements, technology demonstrations and diagnostics customised, generating practical and applicable results.
In this way, the event not only connects technological supply and demand, but also reinforces the position of Castile and León within the European network of digital hubs, bringing companies in the region closer to European resources and opportunities.
