El Centro Europeo de Innovación Digital DIGIS3, ubicado en Castilla y León, ha llevado a cabo el pasado 3 de diciembre, en colaboración con AIR Institute y el Grupo de Investigación BISITE de la Universidad de Salamanca, la II edición del Congreso Horizonte Rural 5.0 en la Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Industrial de Béjar, con más de un centenar de asistentes. 

El objetivo principal del evento pasó por acercar la transformación digital al mundo rural, así como impulsar la innovación, la colaboración entre entidades y el desarrollo tecnológico en el entorno rural. Para ello, la organización reunió a ponentes de renombre y representantes de instituciones como la Red de Centros Tecnológicos de Castilla y León (NODDO), la Universidad de Salamanca, las diputaciones de Salamanca y Cáceres, el Ayuntamiento de Candelario, AIR Institute, ICECYL, La Factoría Lúdica Hub, ITCL, CESEFOR, ITAGRA, AEICE, ADRISS, PRINCAL, COHABITARE y AVILAGRO.

Las ponencias y mesas redondas trataron diferentes casos de éxito relacionados con lo rural, innovación, servicios tecnológicos y modernización de servicios locales, entre otras temáticas. Además, La Factoría Lúdica Hub organizó dinámicas de networking gamificadas para favorecer el intercambio de ideas, la colaboración y la creación de sinergias. De este modo, el congreso, que se celebró por primera vez de forma presencial tras la edición online del año pasado, ha supuesto una gran oportunidad para aumentar la red de contactos y profundizar en nuevas competencias digitales para emprendedores, pymes, empresas e instituciones.
