DIHBU, DIGIS3 partner, the first Spanish Digital Innovation Hub to provide Artificial Intelligence specialised services in the European DIH4AI network

The Digital Innovation Hub Industry 4.0 now operates from Burgos as a Digital Innovation Hub (DIH) accredited within the framework of the European DIH4AI ecosystem.
The Digital Innovation Hub Industry 4.0 (DIHBU) has been included in DIH4AI as one of the digital innovation centres operating in Europe and is specialised in Artificial Intelligence for industry, and already has a standardised service profile in its catalogue. Another milestone in the trajectory of the
DIGIS3 partner in its commitment to innovation and digitisation in the industrial sector. DIHBU has become the first Spanish Digital Innovation Hub with accredited services within the European DIH4AI network.

Belén Lanuza, manager of DIHBU, explains that their entry into the network came about as a result of their participation in the RAY-DEEP project, which obtained funding within the second call of the DIH4AI network for the implementation of artificial intelligence pilots in Europe, as a DIH provider of specialised services.

After completing the pilot and receiving training in the METHODIH methodology, developed within the framework of DIH4AI as a tool for the deployment of standardised DIH services, DIHBU has been included in the catalogue of this European ecosystem.

This inclusion will enable DIHBU, and thus DIGIS3, to prove its suitability for the provision of cross-border services in this environment, and will bring visibility to the services both offer. It will also allow for rapid synergies with other DIHs and entities in Europe participating in the same ecosystem.

The platform on which DIH4AI operates connects a dynamic European network of regional AI-specialised DIHs and linked testing and experimentation facilities through flexible interoperability bridges based on standardised cross-border services.

The participating entities are from Austria, Germany, Hungary, Turkey, France, Czech Republic, Slovakia, the Netherlands, Romania, Serbia, Italy and Spain.
