DIGIS3 launches second series of courses on cutting-edge technologies

Article - DIGIS 3

Given the impact of cutting-edge technologies on today's society, the DIGIS3 project is launching the second series of courses on "Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence", "Development of Technical Skills for IoT", "Digital Valorization for Public Administrations" and "Complete Digitalization of Ecosystems".

From these courses, DIGIS3 addresses the use of technological resources and the development of processes that require the immediate incorporation of digital tools such as artificial intelligence (AI). In this regard, the course on Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence proposes to expand knowledge of supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms, in addition to learning about modern models of neural networks and their applications in accordance with their professional purpose.

For its part, the course "Development of technical skills for IoT" addresses key concepts and functions of the current technological landscape, beyond the Internet of Things itself, incorporating knowledge of Industrial IoT (IIoT), cyber-physical systems, Industry 4.0, Edge and Cloud Computing, AI and Big Data.

Within the area of public administration, the MOOC "Digital valorisation for public administrations" is also taking place , which seeks to improve the performance of public services through this technology, mainly based on the analysis and management of data in order to carry out strategic planning in the company and optimize customer service.

The influence of these technologies on different spheres, specifically the business sphere, is addressed in the course "Complete digitalisation of ecosystems". The aim of this course is to promote a more in-depth understanding of digital technologies and, subsequently, their transfer to different professional contexts, with a focus on benefiting production and service processes.

These four courses are already available on the e4YOU platform in MOOC mode, where students can register and complete the corresponding modules until 15 June 2024.

The newly launched training proposals are included in the program of activities promoted by DIGIS3 aimed at contributing to the digitization and incorporation of technological resources and business digitization, with the aim of improving their efficiency and strengthening their performance.
