Object
The purpose of this decree is to establish the regulatory bases for aid to be granted directly, by means of an open call, to promote the digitalisation of SMEs through the implementation of ICT services in the Autonomous Community of Extremadura, and to approve the first call for applications, the main objective of this aid being to improve productivity and competitiveness through the application of knowledge and new technologies in the business and commercial sphere.
Beneficiary entities
SMEs with a production centre in the Autonomous Community of Extremadura, regardless of their legal status, including the self-employed, and which are going to improve the productivity and competitiveness of their production centre, will have the status of beneficiary entity in accordance with the provisions of these rules.
Groups of natural or legal persons, communities of property or any other type of economic unit or separate estate may also qualify as beneficiaries.
Firms which have received aid in the sectors specified below are excluded from the aid regulated by this Decree:
a) Aid granted to undertakings active in the primary production of fishery and aquaculture products.
b) Aid granted to undertakings active in the processing and marketing of fishery and aquaculture products, where the amount of aid is determined on the basis of the price or quantity of products purchased or marketed.
c) Aid granted to enterprises active in the primary production of agricultural products.
d) Aid granted to undertakings active in the processing and marketing of agricultural products, in one of the following cases:
- Where the amount of aid is determined on the basis of the price or quantity of such products purchased from primary producers or marketed by the undertakings concerned.
- Where the aid is conditional on being passed on, in whole or in part, to primary producers.
e) Aid granted for activities linked to exports to third countries or Member States, in particular aid directly linked to the quantities exported, to the establishment and operation of a distribution network or to other current expenditure linked to the export activity.
f) Aid contingent upon the use of domestic products and services as opposed to imported products and services.
Community aid scheme
The total amount of de minimis aid granted by a Member State to a single enterprise shall not exceed EUR 300 000 over the previous three years.
Amount of the subsidy
The amount of the subsidy will consist of a percentage of 80% of the eligible investment, with a maximum of 20,000 euros per beneficiary, regardless of the number of services to be contracted.

Deadline and form of submission of applications
The application period is open from 9 January 2025 until 8 April 2025..
Applications shall be processed electronically through the general electronic access point www.juntaex.es in the corresponding form of the procedure https://www.juntaex.es/w/0706324 from where access to the associated electronic site will be enabled to submit the application.
