Call for the granting of subsidies to promote basic digitalization in SMEs in Castilla y León

Object  

The purpose of this call is to grant subsidies to finance basic digitalization projects in SMEs in Castilla y León.

The projects are included in the areas of the Research and Innovation Strategy for Smart Specialization (RIS3) of Castilla y León for the period 2021-2027, available on the website of the Junta de Castilla y León.http://www.cienciaytecnologia.jcyl.es/. The typology of this aid corresponds to objective 3 “Digital Agenda for Castilla y León: Taking advantage of the benefits of digitalization”, action line 3.2 “Digital transformation of companies”, measure 1 “Digitalization of companies”.

Beneficiaries

The beneficiaries of the subsidies regulated in this call for proposals may be SMEs, including the self-employed, with registered office or work center in Castilla y León that carry out projects aimed at their basic digitalization. An SME is considered to be an entity whose characteristics comply with the provisions of section 1 of the third base of the Order of Bases.

Communities of property, public companies and civil societies, as well as associations, foundations, public administrations and, in general, non-profit entities are excluded”.

Eligible projects and requirements

Eligible projects are basic digitalization projects in self-employed and SMEs in Castilla y León, aimed at the implementation of the first digital tools or solutions in a company.

Projects must meet the following requirements:

a) They must be carried out by the beneficiary entity in a work center in Castilla y León.

b) The projects may not have been materially completed or fully executed, regardless of whether all related payments have been made, at the date of submission of the grant application. The maximum project implementation period shall be 18 months from the date of the grant application.

c) The external collaborations referred to in the seventh base of the Order of Bases (eligible costs or expenses) will be carried out by professionals with experience in the field, who are not linked or associated with the beneficiary company.

Eligible expenses  

The following are considered eligible costs or expenses:

a) Software, including the service that offers a software solution to end users over the Internet, through a pay-per-use model.

b) Hardware and equipment necessary for the implementation of the solution or solutions object of the project, including a service that offers an information technology infrastructure to end users through the Internet, through a pay-per-use model.

c) External collaborations necessary for the realization of one or more of the following concepts:

i. Process consultancy to detect the main needs of the beneficiary entity in relation to its digitalization process.

ii. Technological consultancy on the best tools to address the needs of the beneficiary entity.

iii. Consultancy for the implementation of the selected tools/solutions for their integration into the SME's processes.

iv. Follow-up consultancy of the implementation carried out.

v. Training of employees of the beneficiary entity in the tools/solutions implemented.

Type and amount of subsidies

  The aid will take the form of a non-repayable grant in the amount of1.200 euros.

Deadline for submission of applications

The deadline for submitting applications will begin on the day following the publication of the extract of this Call in the “Official Gazette of Castilla y León” and will end on December 31, 2025 (both days included), or on the day on which the extract of a call that replaces it is published.
